Paragon was founded with considerable input from the medical community. The need came through loud and clear: burdens of staff and schedule management, billing and more were taking too much of the surgeons’ precious time. Addressing that need, Paragon takes over administrative tasks associated with surgery, and frees surgeons and first assistants to concentrate their skills where they are needed.
When scheduling surgical first assistants, our goal is to facilitate the working relationship with the surgeon by assigning the same team member whenever possible. We recognize the importance of the bond once it’s established and how it strengthens communication and efficiency. In addition, this relationship reduces time wasted in the OR. Assistants perform at a higher level, which results in greater surgeon satisfaction, and ongoing success.
